NVIDIA RTX 2080 SUPER Specs Published Ahead of July 23 Launch
Will this new GPU bridge the gap between RTX 2080 and 2080 Ti?
Ahead of the announced July 23 launch of the RTX 2080 SUPER NVIDIA has this morning published a product page for the third SUPER card, with the RTX 2060 SUPER and RTX 2070 SUPER launching first on July 9.
The specs? This appears to be based on a full TU104, rather than a partially disabled TU102, so this really is a supercharged RTX 2080 rather than a ‘cut-down’ RTX 2080 Ti. In addition to the full 48 SMs and 3072 CUDA cores the 2080 SUPER will offer the fastest GDDR6 memory speeds from an RTX card to date at 15.5 Gbps.

Naturally we await hands-on time with the upcoming RTX 2080 SUPER to see exactly how close to the mighty RTX 2080 Ti it can reach in gaming performance, but we will know soon enough. As to pricing, this has also been announced and the RTX 2080 SUPER will start at the same $699 as the original RTX 2080.
In the meantime check out our review of the RTX 2060 and 2070 SUPER, and you can also take a look at NVIDIA’s launch video embedded below.
