A Prescription For XT, See!

Over the past two weeks we have seen more new interesting products released than we have in quite a while, as NVIDIA have souped up their existing cards and AMD finally introduces us to 7nm Navi GPUs; not to mention the wee price war.  You will already be familiar with Sebastian’s take on the RX 5700 and 5700XT, with performance outpacing the RTX 2060 Super, albeit without the hardware support for ray tracing.

With all these launches so close together, reviewers have been testing a variety of configurations, resolutions and a plethora of different games.  As you can see below, there is quite a bit of reference material to delve into from both AMD and NVIDIA and we have yet to touch on CPUs or motherboards!  Start out over at The FPS Review and then peruse the roundup below.

However, after July 5th, our opinions and conclusions have changed. The pricing has made a positive impact, and now aligns better with the performance we have experienced. The price to performance now makes sense.
