The Custom RX 5700 XT’s Are Here; A New Red Devil Dares You To Try It

You’ve Seen One Custom RX 5700 XT, Now See Them All

Sebastian reviewed Sapphire’s Pulse card, designed with a focus on running cool and quiet over adding increased performance; though the card can push past most stock RX 5700 XTs.  The Powercolor Red Devil on the other hand is a big beefy card that tries for performance first, reducing temps and noise are secondary.  That is not to say the card doesn’t run cooler than stock; the triple fan, triple slot design actually gives the Pulse a run for the money in TechPowerUp’s testing.

That’s not what you want to know though as what makes the card interesting are the clocks, specifically the Core clock of 1770MHz and Boost of 1905MHz, compared to the stock card’s 1605MHz and 1755MHz respectively.  You do have to pay to get a card with a Core clock higher than the reference Boost, $440 is the expected price; $450 if you need an RGB mousepad and GPU holder.

The PowerColor Radeon RX 5700 XT Red Devil is overclocked out of the box and uses a massive triple-slot, triple-fan cooler that delivers outstanding noise levels. It's actually the quietest Radeon card we ever tested, and quieter than all NVIDIA RTX cards, except for just one custom-design.
