Nightdive Is Hard At Work

For those of us who played the original, the sound of Terri Brosius’ voice still still sends shivers down our spines.  A recent Kickstarter from Nightdive Studios is developing a new System Shock game built on the Unreal Engine and OtherSide Entertainment is developing System Shock 3.  As both games are still in development we haven’t really had the chance to play through either, though an was alpha demo briefly available and so we are left running the old version via GoG or Steam.  That old version is still receiving updates to resolve some outstanding issues, by a mysterious entity whom no one seems to know.

This is due to change, as Nightdive will soon be releasing System Shock 2 Enhanced Edition, updated to run more easily on newer machines and higher resolutions.  Presumably this version will incorporate some of the patches Le Corbeau has provided.

You asked for it and we are working on it... System Shock 2 Enhanced Edition coming soon!!!
