A Passive Apollo Lake Powered NUC

FanlessTech spotted a newly announced NUC, powered by a Celeron N3350 with 4GB of soldered RAM, and 64GB of eMMC with space to add M.2 or 2.5″ drives to upgrade your local storage.   Under the codename Chaco Canyon the new NUC will offer an HDMI 2.0a connection and a second HDMI 1.4 port, as well as support for DisplayPort.  Internet connectivity is both wired and wireless, for USB you have a selection of a pair of both USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports as well as the RS-232 serial port you would expect to remain on your NUC.

Check out the full specs and a look at the inside here.

While we're thrilled at the idea of a new fanless NUC, our enthusiasm is tempered by its convection-starved cooling solution. Hopefully, we'll be proven wrong.
