ASUS ROG Strix Fusion, Head To Head To Head Headsets
A Trio Of Gaming Headsets From ASUS
Kitguru has crafted a comparison of the three new members of the ASUS ROG Strix audio club, the Fusion Wireless, Fusion 500 and Fusion 700. The first offers 2.4GHz wireless connectivity via a USB dongle which will work on both PCs and consoles and gives you a range of 20′ and not a single RG or B which helps with battery life, amongst other things.
The Fusion 500 was developed in partnership with Bongiovi acoustics and offers virtual 7.1 surround over it’s USB connector as well as addressable RGBs. You can tweak both your audio and visual effects via ASUS Essence and Armoury II software, to get the most out of the RGBs and the 50mm drivers.
The Fusion 700 offers the same design and features as the 500, but adds Bluetooth 4.2 support so you can link to a phone or other mobile device at the same time as you are using your USB connection. That lets you switch back and forth seamlessly, as well as ensuring your battery doesn’t fade out on you.
Yes, you can install the RGB controlling software on your phone as well.
ASUS are known for their high-end PC components and peripherals, and today we are looking at three separate models from their ASUS ROG Strix Fusion headset range.
