While there doesn’t seem to be much hype around it, Corel Humble Software Bundle: Painter – Create With Confidence is the most impressive Humble Bundle that I can remember. A minimum donation of $25 USD will unlock all three tiers. This provides full licenses to several content creation packages.
If you don’t want to license Photoshop? PaintShop Pro 2020 Ultimate is Corel’s alternative.
If you don’t want to license Premiere or Avid? Pinnacle Studio 23 Ultimate is Corel’s alternative.
If you want to do digital painting? Corel Painter was arguably the best, and 2019 is here.
This is about $1000 USD of software for a minimum donation of $25 USD, with the ability to split between Humble, Corel, and some charities (such as Make-A-Wish Foundation, GameChanger, and a few other choices). If you are looking for an alternative to some Creative Cloud products, then this might be a cheap way to get started.
They’ve done a couple of recent bundles of similar quality, one with a bunch of audio tools including Acid Pro and Sound Forge Pro, and one of video tools including Vegas Pro. The pro software in each bundle is last year’s version, but that’s still a great deal for $25.
