Same Dual Chamber Design But With Some New Tweaks
The HyperX Cloud Alpha S is now available for $129.99 MSRP, made with memory foam ear cushions, upgraded breathable leatherette trim and a durable aluminum frame. The headset also comes equipped with a detachable noise cancellation microphone, braided cable, spare set of fabric ear cushions and travel bag as you can see above. PC users can enjoy HyperX virtual 7.1 surround sound via the detachable USB audio controller as well as the bass adjustment slider with three levels to let you tweak your audio the way you want it to sound.
If you have used the original Cloud Alpha you will be familiar with the design and quality of this new upgraded model. As you would expect, the headset uses 50mm neodymium drivers, with a frequency range of 13Hz-27kHz and an impedance of 65 Ω. Sebastian should be sharing his experience with the headset in the near future, so stay tuned for a full review.
