Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, The RAM Was A Mind Trick

It Feels As If 16GB Of The RAM Was Silenced

Rock, Paper, SHOTGUN felt a disturbance when they saw the recommended specification for the upcoming Jedi: Fallen Order game, the suggestion that 32GB of RAM was required.  That would push it far beyond the requirements of any other game on the market and implied some interesting things had been done to the Unreal Engine 4 which it was developed on.

Thankfully that was a typo and was quickly amended to 16GB of RAM, still impressive but nowhere near as shocking.  As for the other hardware recommendations, a GeForce GTX 1070 or RX Vega 56 will be required and paired with either a Core i7-6700K or Ryzen 7 1700 should get you good performance at 1080p.  You should look at more powerful hardware if you intend to try 1440p or 4K.

Turns out, yes, it was a Jedi mind trick after all, as the recommended specs have now been updated to just 16GB of RAM. Phew!
