MSI Immerse GH30 is built for travel, as it folds up into a relatively small package, has a removable boom mic and costs ~$50 so it isn’t too traumatic if it dies of a bag related injury. MSI added pleather covered cushioning to both the inner headband and the ear cushions for extended wear, handy for long travel. TechPowerUp were more than impressed by the sound quality of the headset when gaming or listening to music, though the microphone is fairly average you will still be audible when gaming or chatting.
For the easily confused, the left and right channels are very clearly marked, on the inside of the earcups!
The MSI Immerse GH30 is a simple $50 gaming headset with a few aces up its sleeve: it's foldable, comes with a detachable microphone, and sports best-in-class sound quality for headphones in its price range we have had a listen to.
