The Hydro XD3, A New Member Of Corsair’s Hydro X Series
Corsair Helps You Get Your Feet Wet
The Corsair Hydro XD3 pump/reservoir combo consists of a Xylem DDC pump with a nylon reservoir that sports a transparent top so you can see the RGBs that are installed in it and controlled via iCUE. It ships empty of coolant and without a cold plate so you can build your own parts to customize your cooling solution. Corsair was kind enough to provide a compatibility chart for coolants as well as an online configurator to help you chose parts if you so desire.
The radiator has a half dozen BSP G1/4″ threaded ports for you to connect it to your loop and the XD3 pump is designed for use with high-restriction water blocks which you should keep in mind when shopping for the rest of your system. TechPowerUp offers more detailed specifications as well as a tear down of the pump and reservoir for those that are interested.
CORSAIR adds to their Hydro X series of custom watercooling products with their second pump/reservoir combo. The all-new Hydro XD3 uses a Xylem DDC and a lower profile form factor to complement the taller Hydro XD5 that used the Xylem D5, and adds more RGB while sticking with the same excellent installation options.
