It’s Cool To Neither Be Seen Nor Heard

be Quiet! specializes in quiet coolers and their new Shadow Rock 3 is no exception, with Guru of 3D recording a mere 40dBA on a Core i7 4790K overclocked to 4.6GHz.  Under more regular usage it will produce around 32dBA which is what most will experience as this is not a cooler designed to handle high overclocks.  The cooler itself weighs 714g measures 121 x 130 x 163mm and comes with a Shadow Wings 2 120mm specially designed to produce low noise levels.

The Guru of 3D takes you through the installation of the cooler as well as a comprehensive cooler comparison chart to give you an idea how well it cools, as that is almost as important as the noise levels produced.

With more simplified looks this cooler comes with a single radiator, one fan and takes and all that offering cooling performance up-to 190 Watts of cooling power, enough for any modern processor and perhaps a bit of tweaking as well.
