I should do a video on how I do video. It’s pretty easy, but it is NOT cheap. I have collected quite a bit of equipment to try to look professional.
The gear:
Video is a Sony a6000 camera – with a Sony 50mm F/1.8 OSS E-Mount lens – into an Elgato Cam Link 4K. I use some relatively inexpensive LED light panels (Neewer stuff from Amazon) that I diffuse by simply draping white photo backdrops (from a couple of my light boxes) over them when I stream (not the most elegant solution). And the mic is the HyperX QuadCast – which rivals more expensive and complex setups I’ve used in the past (including a PR40 + Cloudlifter + USB preamp).
