Kickstart A Fan Into Your Mouse With The Zephyr Gaming Mouse

Actively Cooled Ambidextrous Gaming Mouse Campaign
If you have ever wished your mouse had a fan inside it to keep your palms cool during long gaming sessions then you should check out Zephyr’s Kickstarter. If you back it you will get 50% off the planned price of the mouse, which seems to be intended to be $160, but if you really want an RGB infested mouse with a blower this is your best chance.
The mouse is designed to fit the same for lefties as right handed people, though there are only thumb buttons on the left side and no indication of a second body with those reversed. TechPowerUp got their hands on a prototype and tested out the quality of the mouse as well as the fan.
The PixArt’s PMW3389 sensor inside is popular with many makers and is capable of 16,000 CPI, they used Omron switches for the main buttons, PTFE feet, and a flexible braided cable. The fan did actually make a difference and was not just added for looks. The RGBs on the other hand definitely were, and you can see them in action in the full review.
The ambidextrous Zephyr Gaming Mouse is a new Kickstarter project that aims to introduce a wholly new feature: a built-in fan to keep the hand cool. Additionally, PixArt's PMW3389 sensor, a lightweight honeycomb shell, and a highly flexible cable are on board, too.
