ASRock Launches AMD X300TM-ITX Thin Mini-ITX Motherboard with USB Type-C

Mini ITX is small, but Thin Mini ITX is smaller. This may not be a revelation, or even news, but what IS news comes from ASRock today, as they are releasing an AM4 motherboard in this thinnest of mITX form-factors: the X300TM-ITX.
ASRock brand new X300TM-ITX supports AMD latest Ryzen 4000 Series APU and up to 64 GB of DDR4-3200MHz SO-DIMM memory, bringing uncompromised performance. This motherboard has an onboard Type-C USB 3.2 Gen1 port built on the rear I/O for charging devices and to deliver up to 5 Gbps data transfer rates.
ASRock X300TM-ITX provides a COM port, two HDMI ports which can drive displays up to 4K 60Hz, a second HDMI located on the side of PCB is an internal port. One LVDS connector for LCD controllers is also present. The storage capability is comprised of a single SATA connector and a single M.2 2280 slot. On the rear there are three USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A ports, with two internal USB 2.0 headers for expansion. For connectivity, X300TM-ITX equips a M.2 Key-E slot for Wi-Fi module and a single Gigabit Ethernet port.
ASRock X300TM-ITX motherboard is compatible with All-in-One PC, mini ITX, and regular Thin Mini ITX chassis, purchase this motherboard to build your office or compact home theater PC.
No mention of price in the press release (you can read the full PR from ASRock by clicking this link), but it’s nice to see a new Thin Mini-ITX option for TmITX enthusiasts (if there is such a thing). One might question the need for such a slim AM4 board outside of AiO applications, and to them I say that sure, the market for such motherboards may be as slim as the form-factor – but they are still COOL.
