G.SKILL Has A Mini-ITX PC Case, The Z5i
G.Skill Gives You Wings!
The new G.Skill Z5i Mini-ITX case has a unique pentagonal prism design with a dual chamber design, one side holding the PSU and motherboard, the other a vertically mounted GPU of up three slots in height and 330mm (13″) in length. The sides of the case consist of 4mm tempered glass side panels which are curved and swing out to allow you easy access to the interior.
The cooling consists of either two 140mm case fans or up to a 280mm AIO radiator, venting to the rear of the case. While this design might increase the temperatures in the case, it also means the case features attractive flat fascias from the front and sides. There are three SATA drive slots included, one combo 2.5″/3.5″ and two 2.5″ to give yoou a fair amount of storage space for such a small case. The only interruption from the design you will see are the two USB 3.0 ports and one USB 3.1 Type-C port on the left side of the front angled panel, as well as a power button.
You can see the aRGB underglow in action in their YouTube video, as well as get a better sense of the overall design of the case. The two things you won’t get from the video are also missing from the website at the moment. We don’t have the exact size of the case to tell you yet, nor the cost of the Z5i Mini-ITX but that should change quickly, as it becomes available for purchase.
