Logitech G502 HERO, When 18,000 DPI Just Isn’t Enough
Did Dudley Do Right?
You might think recognize the Logitech G502 HERO as a mouse which has been out for some time, as the externals are the same as on the original G502, however this mouse hides something new inside. This version includes the new-ish Logitech HERO sensor that is capable of measuring up to 25,600 DPI. You can set up to five DPI settings of your choice in G-Hub and as with previous models you can assign a DPI Shift button to immediately toggle to a specified DPI while you are holding it down.
Apart from the fancy new sensor, the Logitech G502 HERO remains physically the same as previous G502s, and if you aren’t familiar with this mouse already you should check out the full article at The FPS Review. If you’ve been thinking about picking it or another mouse up in the near future, it is on sale at Amazon for less than $40, unless you opt for the fancier exterior.
The G502 HERO K/DA is more gamer-y yet still fairly tasteful customization with a few buttons swapped to blue and three of the shell sections swapped for white with decorative lines.
