Well Gundam! That’s One Seriously Branded ASUS Z590 Board
Mobile Suit Motherboard
ASUS have expanded their already robust Intel Z590 offerings with a new Z590 Wi-Fi Gundam model, designed for fans of the old, long running anime series. Apart from the RX-78-2 Gundam aesthetics, the board is the same as the ASUS TUF Z590 Plus-Wi-Fi, which means it has the same 14+2 VRM design, with no doubler used and should be good for overclockers.
Storage options include six SATA ports, two M.2 Ultra and a single M.2 Hyper port for VROC, and the networking offers both 2.5GbE and Intel WiFi 6. The handful of USB 3.0 ports include a Type-C 3.2 Gen 2, but Thunderbolt support is limited to a header to connect to a case or optional AIB. If you like the look, be aware the Z590 Wi-Fi Gundam will cost you around $80 than the TUF model it is based on.
TweakTown has a review, which includes a look at the silk screening on the back of the board. Check it out if you need more anime in your case, especially if you can figure out a way to also display the back of your board.
Fans of mobile suit Gundam will surely enjoy the ASUS Z590 Wi-Fi Gundam motherboard. If that's you, come take a look with us.
Fun fact: The series this board is based off of was actually cancelled when it aired.
