Dell’s Spring Laptop Lineup
Including A Portable Workstation That Meets Intel’s Evo Specifications
Laptops have rebounded from the shortage plague more quickly that many other devices, and there are new models of Dell you can take a peek at if you are interested. The one really work mentioning is the new 14″ Precision 5470, not to be confused with the old Latitude E5470, as the new 5470 is powerful workstation that still meets Intel’s Evo specifications. Dell managed to shoehorn in an NVIDIA RTX A1000 into the 1.5kg workstation as well, with a new cooling solution which incorporates the hinge into the heat management systems.
Small systems are the theme of this release, the 13.3″ Latitude 7330 weights less than 1kg and the 7340 and 7350 are not much heavier, and include options to install higher end Alder Lake processors as well. All three models offer 1080p displays and most sport USB-C, a pair of USB-A, and HDMI connectors. If 2 in 1 is more your preference, the new Latitude 9430, is both tiny and powerful.
The Register offers a brief overview of the models here; sadly nothing in the way of gaming laptops, these models all work for a living.
If you fancy any of the above, Dell has expanded its Connected Provisioning service into 37 more nations across Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Australia.
