Add 32GB Of Patriot Viper Venom RGB DDR5-6200MHz To Your System

Fancy And Functional

The Patriot Viper Venom RGB DDR5-6200 (PC5-49600) 32GB dual channel kit runs at timings of 40-40-40-76, and should be set at 1.35V.  The DIMMs have a thermal sensor to let you monitor temperatures, on-die ECC, and support for RGB Sync on just about any motherboard you can think of.  Most of the DIMM is covered by a black heatsink with Viper branding but the top is transparent so as to let the RGBs shine through.

The FPS Review quickly found out that the XMP profile is right on the edge of what these DIMMs can manage.  While perfectly stable at 6200MHZ they were unable to successfully raise the frequency nor increase the timings of this Patriot Viper Venom RGB kit.  That may turn some off, but if you are looking for reliable RAM that never displayed any issues whatsoever then this is a decent kit to go with.

It will also be a little less expensive than similar kits with tighter timings, which may also make it more attractive for some.

The specific kit that we are looking at today is the Viper Venom RGB DDR5 32GB (2x16GB) 6200MHz Memory Kit which stands at the top of Viper’s DDR 5 offerings with 32GB RGB kits also being offered at 6000MHz and 5600MHz.
