Behind The Scenes Of The Callisto Protocol

Details On The Designer Of Dead Space’s New Game
Glen Schofield was the guy behind Dead Space and is working on a new game called The Callisto Protocol. The game is not a successor to Dead Space but it certainly does bear a resemblance. You are all alone in space, apart from the hordes of mutants that are looking to kill you that is. Your best bet is also still to dismember them, with a variety of tools you will find along the way.
Ars Technica sat down with Glen and Striking Distances’ design director Ben Walker to take an early look at the game, and to discuss their thoughts when designing the levels you get to see in the video. It comes out on December 2 for Windows, Xbox, and PlayStation.
In addition to the exclusive access, we also were excited at the opportunity to hang out with Glen again—an enormous friendly bear of a man, whose gifted and artistic mind churns out an endless array of many-limbed horrors.
