Behold The Power Of The Ryzen 9 6900HX

The Beelink GTR6 measures 168 x 120 x 43 mm (6.6 x 4.7 x 1.7″) yet contains a Ryzen 9 6900HX, DDR5 4800Mhz, two M.2 2280 PCle 4.0 NVMe SSDs and a 2.5 inch SATA drive.  The four HDMI ports, which support four 8K screens seems a little ambitious for the onboard Radeon 680M graphics, but the flexibility that offers is nice.  The tiny computer also offers two USB 2.0 Type-A’s, three USB 3.0 Type-A’s and a single USB 3.0 Type-C.  For networking you get Wi-Fi 6E, BT5.2 Support and 2.5Gbps wired as well.

The system comes configured at 35W but you can easily switch that to 45W to get a performance boost without any thermal throttling, and there are additional BIOS settings you can play with to raise things even more.  You won’t be breaking any records with the Beelink GTR6 but you will be able to game on it; the Guru of 3D had no troubles playing CyberPunk 2077 at medium settings.

Beelink recently released something small but extremely powerful. The GTR6 has arrived. A low-power 8-core Ryzen 9 6900HX-based PC that can be tucked away anywhere. This compact mini PC comes with a 500GB NVMe SSD, 2.5 Gigabit/s Ethernet, WIFI6E, Bluetooth, USB3, HDMI DisplayPort, and 32GB Dual channel DDR5 DRAM.

I get dates wrong in January, though I didn’t think it’d be that one.
