Sporting A PWM Controlled 120mm Fluid Dynamic Bearing Fan

The FSP Hydro G Pro 1000W PSU meets all the current PCIe 5.0 and ATX 3.0 specifications, as well as an 80 PLUS Gold rating.  It ships with a 700 mm long 12+4-pin PCI-E cable and two 4+4 pin EPS12V cables that are also 27.5″ in length.   The cables are nicely sleeved and it is a fully modular PSU, so you will be able to keep your system build as clean as you like.

The 1000W PSU was able to power an i9 13900K and GeForce RTX 3080 with little to no ripple nor droop.  The fan on the Hydro G Pro remains at or below 31dBA until a 50% load, hitting 36dBA at 75% and peaking at around 42dBA.  Thanks to the stability of the power delivery and the 10 year warranty, Guru of 3D approves of the FSP Hydro G Pro 1000W and puts this PSU on their recommended list.

We have recently acquired the FSP Hydro G Pro 1000W (ATX 3.0) power supply and are excited to put it to the test on our benchmarking platform. Fortron Source Power (FSP) is primarily known for its line of power supply units (PSUs), we test the new FSP Hydro G Pro 1000W (ATX 3.0) power supply.
