Changes include a PWM Pump, new Pure Wings 3 fans, and ARGB lighting on the block

be quiet!, that German maker of power supplies, cases, and coolers, has revised their Pure Loop liquid cooler offering, with the second-gen design aptly named Pure Loop 2. be quiet! says that the new coolers offer “substantial improvements by implementing a PWM-adjustable pump and ARGB LEDs around the cooling block”, and that “compared to Pure Loop 2 FX, the new Pure Loop 2 series utilizes be quiet!’s brand-new Pure Wings 3 PWM high-speed fans for high static pressure and a quiet operation”.

The Pure Loop 2 series of coolers will be offered in sizes ranging from 120 mm to 360 mm, with prices ranging from $99.90 to $139.90 USD. These are launching next month, on October 10.

Glinde, September 26, 2023 – be quiet!, the German manufacturer for premium PC components, announces an addition to its portfolio of all-in-one water cooling units with Pure Loop 2. Pure Loop 2 replaces the award-winning Pure Loop, offering substantial improvements by implementing a PWM-adjustable pump and ARGB LEDs around the cooling block. Compared to Pure Loop 2 FX, the new Pure Loop 2 series utilizes be quiet!’s brand-new Pure Wings 3 PWM high-speed fans for high static pressure and a quiet operation. To match individual cooling requirements, Pure Loop 2 will be available with four different radiator sizes: 120mm, 240mm, 280mm, and 360mm.

Doubly decoupled pump and closed loop motor
Pure Loop 2 water cooling units rely on up to three Pure Wings 3 PWM high-speed fans, which offer a very quiet operation of only 36.8dB(A) at maximum speed. The fans also support a unique closed loop motor function, which monitors the rotational speed of the fan and makes automatic adjustments to keep the fans at a constant fan speed, no matter the air resistance of the radiator. Pure Loop 2 has a doubly decoupled pump to reduce the transfer of vibrations: by being mounted on the tubes, the pump case is decoupled from the CPU cooling block and radiator. On top of that, rubber padding inside the housing of the pump unit add an additional layer of decoupling. The pump unit is PWM-adjustable, allowing better fine-tuning of the performance/noise balance. A nickel-coated coldplate ensures efficient cooling performance for all mainstream desktop processors and allows the use of liquid metal thermal compound.

Eye-catching design, convenient installation, and refill port
Pure Loop 2 sets a high standard in appearance thanks to its all-black design of the fans, radiator, and tubes, which is accentuated by the brushed aluminum-style cooling block. The cooling block is elevated visually with subtle ARGB illumination. be quiet! has implemented an easy-to-access refill port on the radiator, so the cooling liquid can be topped up when needed, for maximum performance over a long lifespan. A 100ml bottle of cooling is included in the retail box and should last for at least six top-ups. The highly flexible sleeved tubes allow for a convenient installation, even in cases with restricted space. Thanks to a convenient mounting system, Pure Loop 2 supports all current mainstream desktop processors from Intel and AMD.

Pure Loop 2 is available in retail from October 10 at a recommended retail price of $99.90 / €89.90 / £84.99 (120mm), of $114.90 / €104.90 / £99.99 (240mm), $124.90 / €114.90 / £109.99 (280mm), and $139.90 / €129.90 / £125.99 (360mm).
