The Wireless, 75% ROG Azoth Extreme Keyboard
ROG NX Snow Or Storm RGB Switches, PBT And A Carbon Fibre Plate
The ASUS ROG Azoth Extreme connects via USB, Bluetooth or 2.4Ghz depending on your preference, and you should note that only the USB and Bluetooth will give you the insane 8000 Hz polling rate. On the other hand Bluetooth only offers you a 6KRO, N-Key is limited to 2.4Ghz and USB connectivity. As you should expect the Azoth Extreme uses ROG Armoury Crate for tweaking, which is not the most popular software out there.
TechPowerUp loved the unique features of the Azoth Extreme like the OLED display which can display system monitoring, audio visualization, or even a KPS count. It can be controlled with the multi-function control knob, making it far more useful than one you twirl hoping to find the right setting. The other thing TPU were very impressed by was the unique adjustable gasket mount design that lets you toggle from a soft feeling keyboard to a hard feeling one with a simple physical switch.
The ASUS ROG Azoth Extreme will cost you though! TechPowerUp’s new favourite pre-built keyboard will run you about $500!
The ASUS ROG Azoth Extreme is a great example of how to take an already good keyboard, with the ROG Azoth, and improving it further to the point of being one of the best pre-built units on the market. It has a ton of features including an OLED touchscreen display and a novel adjustable gasket mount, but is far from being affordable.
