Coming To Josh’s Wishlist Soon

If you love racing games, Thermaltake might not be the first name to come to mind but they are hoping to change that.  The G6 Direct Drive racing wheel bundle includes a a steel three-pedal set and secure mounting options, a racing grade quick release system if you want to swap out the included wheel for one of your favourites and a direct drive motor capable of 6Nm torque.  The motor is actively cooled with a low-noise fan and has an integrated temperature sensor to keep it cool when you are running a long race.

It will be available in April for $519.99.

GM5 3DOF

The GM5 3DOF system is an optional upgrade to the Thermaltake GR500 racing simulator cockpit or the GF500 flight sim cockpit.  Installing this 27kg kit will allow your seat to rock your world while you are playing your favourite sims.  It will offer a control frequency of up to 1000 Hz, a latency of less than 5ms and a stable vibration frequency ranging from 0–100 Hz, to provide you an immersive experience.

Having the full sim experience will cost you though, the GM5 3DOF upgrade will add $3,999.99 to the price of your cockpit, but will certainly increase your enjoyment and possibly your motion sickness.
