Technically Last Year’s Model But Maybe You Can Get A Good Deal

The ASUS ROG Zephyrus G16 is another AMD based gaming laptop, containing a Strix Point Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 and a 105W RTX 4070, with 32GB RAM and a 1TB Gen4 SSD.  The screen is a 16″ 2560 x 1440 240Hz OLED, or you can output to an external monitor via HDMI 2.1, with both USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C and Type-A ports, Thunderbolt 4, available for other peripherals.  The review at TweakTown also touches on the keyboard, which not only held up to handling all their CES 2025 posts but did so comfortably and effectively.

The chassis of the the Zephyrus G16 is sandblasted, polished, and anodized aluminium which you probably don’t want to sit on your lap as the body will get rather toasty under load.  The laptop is available for just under $1500 US, so if that fits your budget you might want to check this one out.
