DLSS 4 At A Theoretically Affordable Price Thanks To The RTX 5060 Ti

Just Pretend The 8GB Model Doesn’t Exist
There are a lot of models of RTX 5060 Ti to choose from, and from that long list of cards The FPS Review tested out Gigabyte’s RTX 5060 Ti GAMING OC. With a theoretical MSRP of $529.99 it gives more people a chance to try out DLSS 4.0 and NVIDIA’s other new features; lesser models should be available for $429. The problem is supply, which has driven the prices up to ridiculous levels and is a problem we’ve been living with for years now. If you can get your hands on one at a reasonable price you will be able to game at 1080p with ray tracing enabled and have a smooth experience with all the bells and whistles turned on. If you are looking at 1440p you will have a decent experience as long as you sacrifice quality a little.
The Achilles heel of the RTX 5060 Ti is memory, even with the 16GB model. Modern games devour VRAM more than ever, with game assets swelling to monstrous size. It used to just be textures that ate your cards memory, but that is no longer the case. It is definitely an upgrade from the older RTX 4060 Ti, and not just because of the larger amount of memory and it out performs AMD’s RX 7600 XT. Overall it is a quite respectable mid-range card, if you can find it at the correct price.
The GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 5060 Ti GAMING OC 16GB will have an MSRP of $529.99 from GIGABYTE, and notably is a 16GB GDDR7 VRAM model also with a factory overclock boost of 2647MHz out-of-the-box.
