Half-Life 3 Might Be Announced This Year?!?

The Worst Kept Secret On The Internet, Or The Worst Troll Ever
One of the most frustrating running gags on the interubes is “Half-Life 3 confirmed“, but that may no longer be a the case. According to yet another leak, the development version of Half-Life 3 is playable from start to finish. The terrifying thing is that this leak, and pretty much all of the others have come from a single source. Tyler McVicker is famous for spilling rumours about Valve which have come true, and it better be the case this time as well or there will be a lot of angry Half-Life fans going on a rampage.
Thankfully for Tyler this rumour is backed up by several other people so it is possible that our 20 year wait is over and we may finally find out what happens to Gordon, Alex and the rest of the gang. It will still probably be some time before we actually see a game, but there is hope.
In the same month, another Valve leaker, Gabe Follower, claimed that Half-Life 3 would be the "end of Gordon's adventure," potentially signaling a non-cliffhanger ending to one of gaming's best franchises. Outside of these rumors, internet sleuths discovered code referencing HLX, which is widely thought to be the codename for Half-Life 3, in major updates to Deadlock and Dota 2.

it just seems like a bad idea at this point. There is almost no possible ending that could be more satsiftying at this point than the head cannon fans have written in their head.
Might be great. More likely it’s going to be a loot box laden bug fueled nightmare with 12 dlc expansions to finish the story, and another 3 to learn the story of the first crowbar before meeting Gordon, with a possible 3 to learn of what happened to our beloved crowbar after she was taken away…. and her quest to return to her beloved.
Yea, I know, I’m getting cranky as I get old, even crankier than when I was a teen…… and I know I was ranting when I posted this morning….. BUT
I kinda wana play the crowbar dlc now. In my head canon it’s the same crowbar that was taken away that you find later….. it’s a story of hate and love and sadness and joy, I’ll make you cry. it’ll make you laugh, but at the end of the day you’ll just be happy to be part of the story…. staring Rob Schneider.
Also get of my lawn
I blame you for my desire to play that DLC as well. Someone needs to at least make a mod!
