Some RTX 5050 Specs Leaked As Well

It’s official, the 8GB RTX 5060 is die for launch on May 19th and will even be in stock, for several seconds, before completely disappearing from official retailers and reappearing on reseller sites at a monstrous markup.  The RTX 5060 should sell for $299, with higher end models having a bit of a price premium applied.  Unfortunately that price has no chance of being reflected in reality, the cards you do find for sale will carry a ridiculous markup unless you buy it in a system.

Ars Technica lists the specs if you haven’t seen them before, the memory specifications match the 8GB version of the RTX 5060 Ti, but it will have 768 less CUDA cores and a slightly lower boost clock, but will also consume 35W less power.  It will be interesting to see if the extra memory bandwidth helps the RTX 5060 compete against the RTX 4060 Ti in performance; in features the RTX 5060 will be more interesting thanks to DLSS 4.0 and Frame Generation..

As well the leaked specs of the RTX 5050 appears on the same chart, and so far it looks very similar to the RTX 3050 but it may still have increased memory performance even though it will still use GDDR6.

The new card, a successor to popular past GPUs like the GTX 1060 and RTX 3060, will bring Nvidia's DLSS 4 and Multi Frame-Generation technology to budget-to-mainstream gaming builds—at least, it would if every single GPU launched by any company at any price wasn't instantly selling out these days.
