30FPS+ In Battlefield V At 1440p Ultra Enough For You?

GEEKOM knows the NUC form factor, better than the original even considering their past mini PC releases.  The GEEKOM A6 continues this tradition, offering rather impressive performance in a package measuring 112.4 x 112.4 x 37mm (4.4 x 4.4 x 1.5″).  Inside is a 4.7GHz AMD Ryzen 7 6800H paired with a 2.2GHz Radeon 680m GPU which is able to get a score of 2664 in Time Spy at 1440p, more than enough to enjoy your games.  The 32GB of dual channel Crucial DDR5-4800 is good but not quite as impressive; those SO-DIMMs aren’t soldered on so you could try upgrading them.  The storage is a Kingston 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVME SSD and there is a second SATA only M.2 slot, you will need a M.2 to SATA adapter if you want to go with a 2.5″ SATA drive.

TweakTown tested it, tore it apart and ended up very impressed with the performance.  The addition of a 2.5Gbps NIC, a 40Gbps and 10Gbps USB-C with DP-Alt support, added to the fact it will only cost you $500, or $450 during the current sale, the Geekcom A6 is even more attractive for anyone looking for a new system that doesn’t have to be a Dream Machine.

GEEKOM's A6 Mini PC packs an AMD Ryzen 7 6800H and Radeon 680M power into a compact form, perfect for those needing serious performance in a tiny box.
