The Meshify 3 Ambience Pro RGB Has A Very High Opinion Of Itself

KitGuru recently took a deep look at Fractal’s Meshify 3 Ambience Pro RGB case, capable of holding up to an EATX motherboard and a 360mm radiator on the front.  On paper that support, along with three 120/140mm fans on top and a 120mm on the back or the equivalent in radiators the cooling is decent.  However when the mesh panel is removed the temperature dropped 3C which suggests it’s a little restrictive on the airflow.  You can also choose between a number of models, with or without tempered glass or RGBs and even an XL version for those that like their space.

The build quality was okay, but not up to the standards that KitGuru expects from Fractal.  There is a fair amount of flex in the case, and the layout of the Meshify 3 Ambience Pro RGB is very different than previous models.  This could be a challenge for long term fans of Fractal but not so much for those that haven’t used these cases before.  There is hope however, as the original Meshify 3 Ambience Pro RGB had issues with overly tight PCIe slots on the back which Fractal fixed so it’s possible that they may improve other parts of the design.  The real challenge is the price, when it hits the US market it is likely to cost more than $200.

Today Fractal is launching its latest Meshify chassis – the Meshify 3, and it comes in black or white colours, with or without tempered glass and RGB and in regular or XL sizes. In this review, we are taking a closer look at the regular-size Meshify 3, but it’s the Ambience Pro RGB version that sounds exciting – or does it?
