Tron: Catalyst Is Coming; The Demo Is Already Here

A New Movie Is Coming As Well
If you have fond memories of the original Tron movie, you might also have some not so fond memories of the arcade game. The Tron franchise, which has been in existence for 43 years now, is getting both a new movie and a new game. Tron: Catalyst releases in a few weeks but as of today you can grab the demo from Steam to give Bithell Games’ not quite isometric action game a try. The demo consists of the first hour of the game in it’s entirety, which should let you give the game a fair shake and decide if you want to play the full version.
It is set in the Arq Grid where Bithell Games’ Tron: Identity took place, if you are familiar with that version of Tron. Fans of a certain game might like the fact you are playing a courier who has something odd happen to it thanks to a mysterious package. You can expect Tron: Catalyst to have a Disc to fight with and a Light Cycle to ride as you try to figure out what is going on with the glitches that threaten the stability of the world. The full game drops June 17th.
If you're not the demo type, one, did you never buy a copy of Official PlayStation Magazine in the 2000s, and, two, that's fine, because it's due out on June 17th, just a couple of weeks away.
