Stereo Sound For Just About Any Device

The FiiO SA1 stereo speakers are active, so you will need to ensure you have power handy; as long as you do they will accept RCA, optical, USB, coax or aux-in.  They didn’t skimp on the materials either, the 20W, 3.5″ woofers are wood fibre with 2.95″ flexible suspension for bass down to 65Hz and the 5W, 0.75″ tweeters are aluminium magnesium alloy domes.  Inside you will find both a TPA3118 class D digital audio amplifier, and a built-in phono preamp on the RCA jack.  You will also see a subwoofer out, single plug style as opposed to dual.

There is a control app you need to fully enjoy the features of the SA1, but the bundled remote control will let you play straight out of the box, if you so wish.  NikKTech felt the mids and highs were crisp, detailed and accurate and while the bass was good you can’t expect 3.5″ woofers to shake the roof.  Grab a sub and plug it in if that’s your preference.

You should check out the entire SA1 review if you are looking for a flexible stereo speaker system that is under $200.

Compact size, very good overall performance, rich connectivity, and a proper price tag are just some of the things that make the SA1 High Fidelity Desktop Active Speaker by FiiO worth getting.
