TweakTown calls the ASUS ROG Strix OLED XG27UCDMG the new best in class for 27″ OLEDs, which is quite the praise.  If they were forced to pick something they didn’t like, the materials used on the XG27UCDMG aren’t quite as nice as the PG27UCDM but even still they like the square stand more on the XG27UCDMG.  You will find a DisplayPort 2.1 port on the back with an impressive the maximum bandwidth of 80Gbps.  That is more impressive than DP 1.4 at 32.4 Gbps, though as of yet TweakTown has never seen a noticeable difference between the two standards, even at 4K 240Hz but perhaps will come in handy when we hit 8K.

In addition the display offers HDMI 2.1, a USB-C port with up to 90W power delivery, three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.  The QD-OLED sports ASUS’ Neo Proximity Sensor to prevent burn-in by turning off the display if the user gets more than 90cm away, which you can tweak if you tend to sit further back than that.  The display offers all the benefits of OLED, has Dolby Vision support and a 0.03ms (GtG) response time.  Check it out in the full review here.

ASUS has released the ROG Strix OLED X27UCDMG, a 4K 240Hz gaming monitor that has now become the best-in-class 27-inch OLED from ASUS.
