LC-Power LC1200P2, Another Solid Choice To Power Your System

A PSU Of A Different Stripe

The insides of LC-Power PSUs are designed by RSY, which also supplies companies such as Superflower, Enermax and even some Seasonic PSUs.  LC-Power isn’t very common in North America but it is making inroads, and it has been a choice for those overseas for quite some time.  The design of the shell will fit in with just about any case, the 135mm fan will cool without making a huge amount of noise and it comes with all the latest tech including ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1, not to mention 80 PLUS Platinum.

It is a 1200W model which comes with 12V-2×6 connectors as opposed to the 12VHPWR connector which is likely to become extinct soon.  KitGuru were impressed with both the design quality and solid power distribution.  The only real negative is that you may see it for sale at a somewhat higher price than the competition due to it’s rarity.  If you see it for a better price than one of the PSU manufacturers you are familiar with it is certainly worth considering.

While LC-Power as a brand won't immediately be recognised by enthusiasts in the same way as Corsair or Seasonic, they have been operating since 1996 so are clearly veterans of the industry. This unit is platinum rated, fully modular unit populated with high grade Japanese capacitors.
