Keep Your Typing On The Low Down

Mechanical keyboards were all the rage, with deep designs and a heft to them that would serve well as an improvised weapon.  That is not everyone’s preference, some prefer a quiet keyboard that has a low profile and that is exactly who the NuPhy Air75 V3 wireless keyboard was designed for.  The Gateron Low-Profile, called Red Nano Switch 3.0 in the Air75 V3 review at TweakTown, have a total travel distance of 3.5mm total and an actuation point of around 1.7mm.  They also describe these as the “best low-profile linear mechanical switches” they’ve used so far

You can connect the Air75 V3 via 2.4GHz, Wired (USB-C) or Bluetooth 5.0 and the optional NuPhyIO software is functional without a load of cruft to deal with.   The doubleshot PBT keycaps get a stamp of approval and the fact that the knob can be replaced every bit as easily as the keycaps, instead of being permanently attached gets top marks as well.

Check out the Air75 V3 review if you want a high quality, low profile keyboard.

The NuPhy Air75 V3 is one of the best low-profile keyboards to date, and it's all due to its fantastic switches, acoustics, and layered construction.
