PCSpecialist Recoil 16, AMD X3D On The Go
Mobile Gaming With A 9955HX3D And An RTX 5070 Ti
PCSpecialist, a brand familiar to UK readers but not so much here in NA, have done something interesting with their new Recoil 16 gaming laptop. They have put a Ryzen 9 9955HX3D into this gaming laptop which will ensure that your CPU is not holding you back when gaming. Unfortunately they chose to pair it with 32GB Crucial DDR5-5600 so you will miss out on that golden 1:1 ratio.
The RTX 5070 Ti is enough to power the 16″ 2560×1600 300Hz display at native resolution in just about every game KitGuru tested, you can also enable DLSS or Frame Generation to get even more frames on screen. While you might not be able to grab this specific Recoil 16 gaming laptop easily, the review will show you what any laptop with a Ryzen 9 9955HX3D and RTX 5070 Ti will give you. It is a rather impressive pairing.
AMD’s X3D desktop CPUs have dominated desktop gaming performance for what seems like a lifetime at this point. But what happens when you try to squeeze that same tech into a laptop?
