Fosi Audio are not messing around with their new headphones, the Fosi Audio i5 has 97mm planar magnetic drivers with 22 high strength neodymium magnets on each ear cup, 11 on each side of the 2nm ultra-thin diaphragms.  These oversized drivers do come with a cost, the Fosi Audio i5 weigh in at 550g (1.2lbs) and will cost you between $544-599 which is significantly higher than was implied in their Kickstarter.  On the other hand, with CNC machined aluminum and walnut wood the price is not ridiculous for what you get.

NikKTech fell in love with the design and the quality of the audio that the Fosi Audio i5 provides, though it is worth noting they used the optional rubber isolating ring during the entire review which some may not choose to get.  The weight was certainly noticeable, but that is generally the case with planar magnetic headphones from anywhere.  Read about their whole experience in the full review.
