Is It Still A Mouse If It’s From Turtle Beach?
The Burst II Pro, A Roccat Successor With A Different Name
You may or may not recall that Roccat has always been a part of Turtle Beach, and why this is the Burst II Pro as the original model was sold under the Roccat name. The wireless mouse features 8,000 Hz polling over that connection and Turtle Beach were wise enough to incorporate a large battery that can handle that rate for up to 40 hours before calling it a day. That does up the weight to 57 grams, not exceptionally heavy but no lightweight.
The sensor is an Owl-Eye 30K optical sensor and there is a physical DPI button to let you toggle between five saved DPI settings. This all adds up to a high quality mouse as well as a high price, the MSRP is $139.99. That price is in line with other mice that offer similar options, which makes recommending the Burst II Pro over any other model but if a physical DPI switch and the other features covered in TweakTown’s review are what you are looking for then this might be the mouse for you.
The Turtle Beach Burst II Pro is a versatile pro-grade wireless gaming mouse with an impressively accurate sensor and low-latency 8K polling.

Having Turtle Beach in a name doesn’t make it a turtle, but having a turtle shaped mouse does.
Then again, it’s not for gaming. I use it for work.
I’ve always wanted to buy a turtle-shaped mouse for my child, even though the brand “Turtle Beach” isn’t actually a turtle-shaped mouse, haha. However, a brand is recently releasing a turtle-shaped mouse, which I saw on Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/MouseReview/comments/1pxl3cz/rapoo_esports_turtle_wireless_mouse/
It’s from a seemingly new brand. Could you review their mouse, please? This seems to be their website: https://shop.rapoo.com/
