Nothing But The Basics And A Cybenetics Gold Rating

The price of building your own PC keeps rising, to the point it is painful to even price one out.  This means that some compromises must be made, but they must be done in a wise manner.  One way to do this is to go with a PSU which has hard wired connections instead of being modular.  Sharkoon has just such a product, the Rebel P15 range of power supplies which are available in 650W, 750W and 850W models.  These units all feature a Cybenetics Gold rating, are fully ATX 3.1 compliant and have a 12V 2×6 cable to power that GPU you’ve been saving up for.

There are some risks buying a lower cost PSU, but thankfully the tests at KitGuru proved the Rebel P15 is a safe choice.  The 750W model they tested provided power that was in spec with standards, perhaps not quite as stable as a higher end PSU but still definitely a solid source of power.  The 120mm fan can get a bit loud when you push the load above 500W, peaking at 42.3 dBA.  but you won’t even hear it at loads under 350W.  It also comes with a 7 year warranty and should retail for under $100 when it becomes available in NA,

Today we look at a budget power supply from well known PC case maker Sharkoon. The Rebel P15 range of power supplies are their newest units and they have released a 650w, 750w and 850w version at the end of 2025.
