Ghost Keeper, Legally Distinct From Either Of Those Other Ghostbuster Franchises

Plus In This One You Are Playing The Class 3 Entities

Ghost Keeper is an early access game that might be worth taking a peek at if you like The Sims and Dungeon Keeper series, or want to scare the pants off unsuspecting humans à la Beetlejuice.   It’s top down and gives you control of a choice of ghosts, demons, and beasts who are all able to terrify humans in their own special ways.  The entities not only have distinct powers, you can improve them over the course of the game to make them even scarier.

There is a demo if you are curious, with an open world type sandbox mode to play with and the actual early access game is on a 15% discount at the moment which brings the cost down around to $15 depending on where you are.   If you are looking for something less ghostly, Placid Plastic Duck Simulator is scarily popular at the moment.

On the offset, Ghost Keeper almost looks like a Sims expansion, or perhaps incredibly dedicated mod, what with its top down view, exaggerated character animations, and semi-real but still kind of goofy in a fun way vibe.
