We’ve Come A Ways Since The First Generation of 3D Printers

We haven’t taken a look at a 3D printer in some time, which is why it’s worth a peek at Creality’s K2 Pro Combo kit.  This generation of kit boasts 600mm/s print speeds and 30mm/s² acceleration.  The print occurs in an actively heated and fully enclosed chamber that can reach 65°C and the bed heats to 120°C, no mods needed.  As for the hot end, 300°C is sufficient for just about any consumer filament material you could want, metal is still of the table, as long as it’s 1.75mm in diameter.

NikKTech compared it to a few other models they’ve reviewed over the years and gave it a Platinum Award.  The quality will cost you though, it generally sells for $1050US.  See the review and a link to a video of a print here.

"If we wanted to quote someone, we could copy this block. Maecenas id justo sed risus ultrices tincidunt. Mauris orci elit, fermentum vitae mi eget, fringilla faucibus tortor. "
