In case you missed it, the latest NVIDIA driver has some issues

Update: Through the magic of waiting a few more minutes, the link for the new GeForce Game Ready Driver 595.71 WHQL is now working.

And now back to our previously published, and now inaccurate, post.

NVIDIA has pulled its latest Game Ready Driver – the 595.59 WHQL mentioned in the title of this news post – due to issues that cropped up after the launch. Reports include instability and faulty fan detection, and you can read the post over at CLUB386 for more on that.

Here is the update to NVIDIA’s original blog post:

February 26th, 11am PT Update: We have discovered a bug in the Game Ready and Studio 595.59 WHQL drivers and have removed the downloads temporarily while our team investigates. For users that have already installed this driver and are experiencing issues with fan control, please roll back to 591.86 WHQL.

That’s it. Just go back to 591.86 from January 27 if you updated. There is a result this morning for a new GeForce Game Ready Driver, version 595.71 WHQL released today (March 2, 2026), but the link isn’t working yet.
