An Improved PSU Line From Enermax

It seems NikKTech have been posting a lot of PSU reviews lately, and the majority of them are from brands that aren’t familiar.  If you are interested in trying out new PSUs, take a look at the ones below.  There are only a few actual PSU manufacturers so while the brand name may be new to you the guts should be recognizable.  If you are more interested in a modular PSU from a name you know, the Enermax Platimax II 1200DF seems to be an improvement over some of Enermax’s recent releases

The Platimax II 1200DF measures 150mm wide and deep, 86mm in height and sports a 135mm fan for cooling, with a single 12V-2×6 connector for your protection.  The PSU was designed by Shenzhen RSY and contains Rubycon and Unicon caps and it shows from the solid power delivery of the Platimax II 1200DF.  You also get a 13 year warranty, though at an MSRP of $229.99 it will cost you a bit more than some of the competition’s offerings.

A high‑efficiency ATX 3.1 1200W platform with strong rail behavior, 80 PLUS Platinum certification, and long‑life Japanese capacitors, the PlatimaxII 1200DF by ENERMAX delivers the steadiness high‑end systems expect.
