It’s The RTX 5060 Ti 16GB Versus The 8GB Model

4GB Should Be Enough For Anyone!

NVIDIA has reacted to the complete disconnect between GPU MSRPs and the actual price you pay by slashing in half the … memory.  That’s right folks, just in case you forgot GPU makers have no interest in lowering prices but they are more than happy to lower the quality of product they sell to us plebs. Yes, you can now get a slightly less overpriced RTX 5060 Ti with half the VRAM.  If you see a suspiciously attractive price on an RTX 5060 Ti, you better count it’s VRAM before you buy.

The FPS Review tested the 8GB RTX 5060 Ti against the original 16GB model; one assumes it was picked up on purpose and not just a way to justify falling for a deal too good to be true.  As you should expect, until you hit 4K there is little to no difference in performance between the two cards except the 16GB version offers significantly better 1% Low and minimum frame rates.

If you’re running 1440p or less, there are only a few scenarios in which you might notice a performance difference and DLSS is always there to have your back.  They still cost too much, but if you need a new card then ignore the haters and enjoy your 8GB.

In this GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB versus GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 8GB gaming performance review today, we are specifically going to compare gaming performance between a 16GB GeForce RTX 5060 Ti and an 8GB GeForce RTX 5060 Ti video card.

Why is this being referred to as a new product? 8 GB and 16 GB models have existed since the 5060 Ti launched. Just like the 9060 XT, and 4060 Ti.
