Get Proton 11 If You Don’t Want A Steam Machine, Or Pray You Already Bought A Cube To Put It In

Free Update Or Hope You Ordered A Cube From dbrand Before They Got Caught

The good news for those not wanting to get a Steam Machine is that Proton 11 has arrived.  This update does quite a bit, perhaps one of the biggest is bringing your EA games back after the update to the EA App cut off your access.  There are more than a half dozen games that have upgraded from Proton Experimental to functional as well as a slew of newly Proton compatible games. There is also bad news for anyone who spotted dbrand’s Companion Cube, aka Poverty Cube enclosure and didn’t immediately find a way to get one.  Valve noticed and were not impressed.  dbrand’s hope to beg forgiveness after the fact didn’t work and they’ve had to stop all production.  If you did somehow manage to get one then enjoy your Cube, as the rest are headed for the Aperture Science Emergency Intelligence Incinerator.  If you’d planned on spending the cash on a Steam Machine specifically because of the custom enclosure, you might not want to grab it as we’ve heard nothing from Valve about them selling a similar product.
