Logitech’s G512 X 98 If You Can’t Decide Between Magnetic Or Mechanical Switches

The Logitech G512 X 98 keyboard supports both mechanical and magnetic switches; well the left side does anyway and comes with DoubleShot PBT keycaps with shine through.  To be more specific the left half includes 39 keys including the arrow keys and the spacebar.  The function keys and others are mechanical only as are the two programmable dials.  The rear of the keyboard has a Game Mode button as well as a compartment to store switches if you swa[ them.  The G512 X 98 also doesn’t have tilt feet, instead the tilt is provided by the separate key and switch pulling tools.

TweakTown tested out the G512 X 98 and were very impressed.  It’s not just that this is the first hybrid mechanical/magnetic keyboard they’ve played with, Logitech did a stand out job on the quality of the entire build.  Check it out here.
