Was The Logitech G Pro X2 Superstrike A HITS?

Three Months With Logitech’s Haptic Induction Trigger System

The Logitech G Pro X2 Superstrike gaming mouse was advertised as having a mere 30ms latency on it’s buttons thanks to the new HITS technology, and KitGuru decided to grab on for testing back in the spring.  Since then they’ve been gaming with it and trying out not just the low latency mode but also the adjustable actuation depth and feedback at different settings.  They’ve now formed an opinion on what is likely the only Hall Effect mouse on the market.

They discovered that in order to achieve the 30ms latency you have to run the actuation point at its absolute lowest setting,  This means that the slightest pressure on a mouse button will trigger the action associated with that button, so even just resting your fingers on the mouse could well set it off.  This is counterintuitive compared to other mice, as we are used to needing a bit more pressure to trigger a button push.  It worked well at slightly higher actuation point and overall was a good mouse.   KitGuru was also rather disappointed to discover their Pulsar X2 Crazylight mouse had a lower latency than HITS could provide.
